Hey everyone, I started a profile on a site called Kickstarter.com where you can essentially pre-order SPELLS debut EP to help fund the recording process. It’s an incredible idea and site that helps artists like myself start up their dreams. This is a chance to help me as an artist create music that is not tampered with by some label or any other middle man that would be taking money and calling shots. This is a chance to also help re-shape the music industry and how music is delivered to you.
Here’s how it all works: Depending on how much you want to pledge on my Kickstarter profile determines the various pre-order packages I have personally set up and that I will personally put together and send to you! Every backer will get a digital copy of the EP as soon as its completed and before its released to the public. From there, other exclusive bonus material is added depending on how much is backed. It’s pretty simple!
The catch is, on Kickstarter I now only have 22 days to reach my funding goal of $4,500 which is the bare minimum of what I need to record. However the pledges CAN exceed the goal, which would be incredible! Currently, I am at approx. $1,230 and I am extremely thankful for those of you who have backed SPELLS and pre-ordered the EP!
With that said, I would truly appreciate your support in making this record and new project come to life. Even if you backed 5 dollars it would make a significant difference. Or the other option is, if you simply can’t afford it; help spread the word online and word of mouth. Either way, I am truly greatful for everyone’s support in the past with Raining and OK and for what is to come with SPELLS. Thanks for reading!

I’ll be launching my Kickstarter.com profile hopefully tomorrow to start the pre-orders for the new EP. Every purchase will help fund the record! There will be different tears of pledges, each with more “rewards” like signed CD’s, posters, handwritten lyric sheets, exclusive unreleased things, acoustic/piano versions of the EP and more. Today was a very productive day. Finished up two songs, songs called “Hi & Lo” and “Reach.” Started searching and finding the right vibes for each song and recorded some rough ideas for drum parts. Everything is starting to come together quickly. I’ll be sure to post some video footage and pictures along the way.
SPELLS is my new “one-man-band” project I’m starting. I’m currently writing and demoing and will be recording in the Winter. I hope to release the debut material early next year.
This will be quite a departure from Raining and OK. And instead of filling your minds with preconceived notions of the “sound” I’ll let the music do the talking. I’m really excited to get this new project rolling and I can’t wait for you all to hear it. Thank you for enduring support, stay tuned!
